Week 10 Power Rankings (11-17-2021)

1.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 7-3
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 875.4
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: It’s a little concerning that in back to back weeks Stafford has thrown two interceptions and cost the game for this team. Judging on the overall sample size and regression to the mean, I still have confidence in this team as a strong contender.

2.) Gandalf the Goat

Overall Record: 7-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 815.2
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: With another quality win and great head to head tiebreaker over a highly seeded team playoff foe, the Goat is close to clinching the division officially. This team is also getting back strong reinforcements in the form of David Montgomery after a knee injury after four weeks on the IR.

3.) Sacramento Wolf Pack

Overall Record: 6-4
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 831.3
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: With little to no contributions from the receivers this week, the Wolfpack suffer another bad loss but luckily retain hold of the division. The bright spot is Ezekiel Elliott is one of the few consistent and healthy reliable running backs and has looked good all season long.

4.) Korriban Warriors

Overall Record: 6-4
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 906.5
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The Warriors made headline news this week shipping out three players to land some superstar receivers in Cooper Kupp and Ceedee Lamb. With the FFC North race being razor tight, I believe this move gives the definitive edge to the Warriors.

5.) Lin Sanity

Overall Record: 6-4
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 819.7
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Playing the QB carousel game the last few weeks has not helped Lin Sanity the past few weeks and may end up being a season long game. The injury to Damien Harris has also further exposed a positional weakness at running back which will be an interesting situation to monitor over the next few weeks.

6.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 6-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 941.1
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: It’s not often Tom Brady underperforms in such a favorable matchup but that’s what cost the Pool this week in a bad loss. The three way tie for the division race is heating up and with all three teams losing this week, the Pool hold steady at the #6 spot.

7.) Jedi Knights

Overall Record: 6-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 726.6
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: The win streak ends at six, and the Jedi Knights hold the final wildcard spot but feel some pressure from below with a couple of five and four win teams looking to make a run late. The short term injury to Aaron Jones will cost 1-2 weeks and the team will turn to Leonard Fournette and some bench depth to carry the load.

8.) Hot Pocket Hot Locket

Overall Record: 5-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 675.9
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: Mark Ingram’s return to New Orleans produced a great RB1 week and helped out a clutch win for HPHL who score with another great late round bench stash. Now as this team battles for a playoff spot, they have got to ramp up the offensive production to stay competitive in the “points scored” category.

9.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 5-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 838.9
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: Despite getting a win, the massive log jam of 6-4 teams and losing the head to head tiebreaker to Hot Pocket Hot Locket drops UPS to the #9 spot this week. Stefon Diggs broke out with a season high points scored in Week 9 looking like his 2020 self.

10.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 4-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 774.7
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: It was a close win for the Spartans who grinded it out into the Monday night game and they gained ground on the division race now cutting the deficit to two games back. With just four weeks remaining on the season, there is no margin for error left and the Spartans will hope to run the table for a chance to get into the playoffs.

11.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies

Overall Record: 4-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 752.8
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The late game heroics from Deebo Samuel fell just a little short as the Rubber Duckies almost completed an amazing come from behind victory. With how strong the FFC North is, this unfortunately looks like the odd man out.

12.) SLAM BALL 2K21

Overall Record: 4-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 723.1
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: Anyone else playing Halo Infinite?

13.) Dr. Jenious

Overall Record: 4-6
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 717.2
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: In case anyone had serious doubts about Patrick Mahomes, I present to you exhibit A of what this guy is capable of. With a season high 46 fantasy points, he accounted for over 50% of the total points in delivering a clutch victory in Week 9 for the Jenious.

14.) Bruce Almightys

Overall Record: 4-6
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 838.9
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Another tough loss for Bruce who were just a Cooper Kupp catch away from sitting pretty at 5-5 with much better playoff aspirations. However the loss prompted a blockbuster trade in which the QB woes have hopefully been solved with the steady Kirk Cousins who is QB8 on the season so far.

15.) Mahomies’ Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 3-7
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 799.8
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: Good win for the MD Nuts but the end is near soon as one more loss by this team or one more win from the Goat will seal the deal on the division race.

16.) Philippines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 3-7
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 581.4
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: Winning three out of the last four, this is arguably the hottest team in BFFL looking to wreak havoc and ending playoff hopes for many teams down the stretch.
