Week 5 Power Rankings (10-08-2025)

1.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 4-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 448.78
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: Perhaps the most underrated team who has been flying under the radar this season, Pool of the Dead rises to the #1 overall seed on a points scored tiebreaker. The rising star known as Bill Croskey-Merritt rushed for two touchdowns and got some work in the passing game; an encouraging sign going forward.

2.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 4-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 444.4
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: You have to have Baker Mayfield in the MVP conversation at this point as he goes on the road against a good Seattle defense and drops 30 fantasy points. After looking like he was dead in the water, Calvin Ridley revived his 2025 season with a 131 yard game.

3.) Philippines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 4-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 439.4
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Matthew Stafford and Jonathan Taylor led the way with another incredible team performance in a close victory. Stafford and Taylor contributed three touchdowns each as this team made a statement in regaining control of the FFC West.

4.) Moore on the Run

Overall Record: 4-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 403.5
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: Moore on the Run regains control of the FFC East after another close victory marked by the return of Jayden Daniels. Jayden Waddle in his first outing without Tyreek Hill registered six receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown.

5.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 3-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 445.96
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: We have a new addition to the wildcard scene as Uur UPS rattled off their third win in a row with strong games from Jalen Hurts and Javonte Williams. The Dallas coaches made it clear that Williams has earned his bellcow role and will continue to flourish as an absolute draft steal.

6.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Overall Record: 3-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 438.36
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: Everyone was decent, but nobody really stood out in Week 5. Xavier Worthy’s return to health and use as a gadget player in the run game will continue to keep this team relevant in the playoff picture.

7.) Cloud 9

Overall Record: 3-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 425.98
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: Cloud 9 lost a close one coming down to some Monday night heroics from the opposing team’s Kareem Hunt. Justin Fields against the Dallas Cowboys was a smash play and he registered nearly 30 fantasy points with 283 through the air and 26 yards rushing.

8.) Gandalf the Goat

Overall Record: 3-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 421.12
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: Spot starting Spencer Rattler this week was a genius move and it almost paid off but the Goat fell a little short even after putting up a great fight. The injury to Bucky Irving has shot up Rachaad White to low end RB1 value in the interim.

9.) Doctor Jenious

Overall Record: 3-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 410.66
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Welcome to the 2025 season CJ Stroud! Stroud finished with four touchdown passes and connected with Nico Collins four times for 52 yards and a touchdown.

10.) Jedi Knights

Overall Record: 2-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 478.08
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: The league leader in points scored gets another bad hand dealt running into a 125 point buzz saw in Week 5. Trading for Brian Thomas Jr. arguably gave this team a higher ceiling but are now relying on playing four receivers a week.

11.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 2-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 457.4
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Kendrick Bourne, Rico Dowdle, Rashid Shaheed, Jake Ferguson: talk about some gusty start/sit decisions. It was like hitting an insane same game parley to see all four of these guys go off on the same weekend.

12.) Game of Zones

Overall Record: 2-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 377.54
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: This team was guided by a strong run game consisting of strong performances from McCaffrey and Hunt to lead the way. With two victories in a row and two games out of first place in the division, it ain’t over until it’s over.

13.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 1-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 416.8
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: Bad beat for MD Nuts after it looked like Mahomes was going on a tear in the first half of Monday night football. A costly pick six in the second half turned out to be the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back.

14.) Bruce Almighty’s

Overall Record: 1-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 411.64
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: Losing a game by such a small margin stings especially in a “must win” scenario. As the defending champ reels from a terrible start, they are on short ice especially with the rest of the division looking so strong.

15.) SLAM BALL 2K25

Overall Record: 1-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 329.44
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: I’m tired boss.

16.) Isla Sorna Raptors

Overall Record: 0-5
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 356.62
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: The Raptors almost had their first victory of the season but lost in heartbreaking fashion. Travis Kelce’s late game heroics on Monday night were not enough as the Raptors fall to 0-5.
