Week 7 Power Rankings (10-23-2024)

1.) Cloud 9

Overall Record: 6-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 644.2
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: It was a statement destruction game for Cloud 9 who put up a week high 140 points behind five touchdown passes from Lamar Jackson. This is what it looks like when your team is firing on all cylinders.

2.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 5-2
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 632.22
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: The Spartans suffered an early game exit from Deebo Samuel and will now be thin at WR if Jennings and Samuel can’t suit up for Week 8. The Spartans remain in strong standing with their dominant 4-0 divisional record.

3.) Gandalf the Goat

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 656.82
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: The Goat lost a close game by 2 points and I’m looking at Alvin Kamara. Kamara has been a rock star this season but finished with a season low 2.40 fantasy points on just 10 rushing yards.

4.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 545.54
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: UPS enjoyed a comfortable blowout win to stay on top of the FFC South. One positive thing about the Jets new coaching direction is there a clear emphasis on Breece Hall who has put together his two best performances in back to back weeks and showcased elite pass catching talent.

5.) Game of Zones

Overall Record: 5-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 571.14
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: It was a down week across the board for the Game of Zones. Most notably, Stefon Diggs disappointed with five receptions for just 23 yards in another situation where he should have stepped up.

6.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 622.16
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: Javonte Williams had another nice game this week with 88 yards on the ground and two rushing touchdowns. The Pool’s overall roster looks incredibly well rounded out.

7.) Doctor Jenious

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 527.38
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: Everyone’s favorite doctor got back in the W column with another strong performance. Brock Bowers seems like he will benefit most from the Raiders dysfunction and Adams’ departure as he was targeted 14 times and caught 10 passes for 93 yards.

8.) Philippines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 524.54
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: Watch out, the Garbage Dumps have won three in a row after starting the season 1-3. With Chris Godwin being put on the IR with a severe ankle injury, the bench depth of this team will be tested in the latter half of the season.

9.) Mahomies’ Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 603.22
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Saquon Barkley’s revenge game against the Giants was a sight to behold, but the Nuts fell short playing against an absolute juggernaut. Barkley’s 176 yards and touchdown was good for another RB1 finish on the week.

10.) Isla Sorna Raptors

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 574.04
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: The Raptors, who have an abundance of riches at the QB position, will closely monitor the health of Jayden Daniels who exited the game early with a rib injury. Jalen Hurts will get the start for the Raptors in Week 8.

11.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 504.6
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The good news for the Craters is Malik Nabers returned to action after missing a few weeks with a concussion. George Pickens found some immediate chemistry with Russell Wilson who got the start for the Steelers for the first time this season.

12.) Bruce Almightys

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 567.42
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: You won’t see many David Montgomery games like this one for the rest of the season. Kyren Williams returned after a bye week with another multi touchdown game and he is dominating fantasy this season.

13.) Moore on the Run

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 527.62
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: After a strong game and finishing the game healthy, Baker Mayfield’s stock may take a big drop this upcoming week. Losing Mike Evans and Chris Godwin for multiple weeks will test Mayfield’s ability to get the ball to some unfamiliar targets.

14.) Jedi Knights

Overall Record: 3-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 497.96
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: It’s not common to speak about defenses being the MVP of the week, but that was the case here. The Eagles defense lived in the backfield with a whopping 8 sacks and put up a clean 20 fantasy points.

15.) SLAM BALL 2K24

Overall Record: 2-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 543.04
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Let’s go Kings!

16.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Overall Record: 0-7
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 412.68
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: With Russell Wilson getting the start and Jonathan Taylor hopefully returning from injury soon, the Wolfpack will be hunting for their first win of the season.
