1.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 6-0
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 558.5
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: We’re almost at the mid way point of the season and this team continues to roll on undefeated behind dominant WR play. At this point, the focus is on managing depth and staying healthy for a virtual guaranteed playoff run.
2.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 5-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 546
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: MD Nuts were able to create a one game lead and some much needed separation in the FFC East race. One of the fantasy steals of the draft, Adam Thielen, vaults up to WR6 after another 11 reception, 100+ yard and touchdown game.
3.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 427.1
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: The master of the 1 yard victory, Da Moon wins another close game albeit low scoring. It was encouraging to see Drake London have his best game of the season registering 125 yards on 9 catches with a season high 12 targets.
4.) Philippines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 457.5
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: It was a nice Sunday morning for PGD as their London players Tucker and Jackson put up some nice lines for a cushion going into the afternoon games. Waiting on some key pieces to get back from injury, every win at this juncture of the season is crucial.
5.) No Diggity…about to bag it up
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 486.2
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Nobody really showed up big this week, but the squad still managed to put up 74 points which makes me think this team is for real. Stefon Diggs continues to one of the most under appreciated and consistently elite fantasy assets.
6.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 505
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: It was a rare off week for Bruce who failed to see anyone score over 15 fantasy points including Josh Allen in an incredible matchup. It was incredibly frustrating to see Gabe Davis end up with negative points after five touchdown weeks.
7.) Sacramento Wolf Pack
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 429.2
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: The Wolfpack had one of the best weekends for any team jumping up into the final wildcard spot for the first time this season and creating a little bit of separation from the Spartans and Lin Sanity. Jakobi Meyers is shaping up to be a nice steal in the draft putting up fringe WR1 numbers.
8.) Gandalf the Goat
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 484.2
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: As Breece Hall’s workload keeps ramping up, we may have found a new gem, up and coming elite running back. With twelve carries and a season high five receptions, Hall managed 15.3 fantasy points against a strong Philadelphia defense.
9.) Jedi Knights
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 471.3
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: After a disastrous start to the season, this team is getting on track and slowly creeping up the power rankings. MVP candidate Tua was back on track with another strong 28 fantasy point day.
10.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 474.6
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: It’s always tough to lose on a last minute interception on Monday Night Football. Justin Herbert now leads the league in fourth quarter interceptions and this one was a killer.
11.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 425.9
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: This is a team scraping the bottom of the barrel for talent after injuries ravaged their team. The division is still within a game but this team needs to find a spark off the bench.
12.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 420.9
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: It’s safe to say that Cooper Kupp is all the way back. Managing the QB matchups the rest of the season will be paramount for the Spartans to win their division race.
13.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 395.9
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: After landing Kyle Pitts in a big mid-season trade, UPS has found their answer at tight end. Newcomer Pitts led the team with 4 catches for 43 yards and a touchdown.
14.) Isla Sorna Raptors
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 469.1
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: Two back to back monster weeks and Travis Etienne is now RB4 on the season. He cedes almost no work to any backup and has a nose for the endzone after scoring his fourth touchdown in two weeks.
15.) Doctor Jenious
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 446.5
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: The Jenious got a big win behind newcomer to the team, Raheem Mostert, led the week with 31.2 fantasy points and three total touchdowns. With Justin Fields banged up, it will be interesting to see where this team turns to for QB.
16.) SLAM BALL 2K23
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 419
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: I wish I could get a bye week from fantasy football.
