Week 13 Playoff Picture

As we approach the final week of the regular season, the playoff picture has been established for six of the seven slots. The final wildcard spot is up for grabs in a Week 13 showdown between Da Moon’s Huge Craters and Bruce Almightys. The FFC East is also up for grabs as the winner of Gandalf the Goat and How I Kmet Your Mother.

All other teams have been eliminated from playoff contention

The #1 seed has been locked by Lin Sanity who will enjoy a bye week in the playoffs and then face the lowest remaining seed. Doctor Jenious and Pool of the Dead have also clinched their respective divisions and they can be ranked anywhere between 2-4 after the results of Week 13. Currently a three way tie is broken by divisional record of which Pool of the Dead and Doctor Jenious have the best records, however Doctor Jenious has the head to head tiebreaker over Pool. The 3 and 4 spots are broken by a head to head tiebreaker of which HIKYM currently has the lead over Pool of the Dead. But again these three spots are very volatile and will depend on multiple results as well as Gandalf the Goat who can still win the FFC East division.

Gandalf the Goat and the Elk Grove Spartans have also clinched playoff spots. Gandalf can win the East or a loss would put them in the wildcard picture in the 5-7 range. The Spartans can only be a wildcard team at this point and can finish as high as the 5 seed.

The final wildcard scenario is a do or die elimination game, effectively making it the first playoff game of the season between the Craters and Bruce. The winner gets the last spot and the loser is eliminated from playoff contention.
