1.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 5-1
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 479.1
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: Joe Burrow’s massive three touchdown game carried this team to another easy victory and grew the lead over the Raptors in the divisional race. After losing Javonte Williams and Rashaad Penny for the season, the Pool of the Dead is getting major help from a returning DeAndre Hopkins who will fit nicely as a high volume wide receiver with massive upside.
2.) Gandalf the Goat
Overall Record: 5-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 572.5
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: With a 40 point advantage over the second highest scoring team, the Goats now have been upgraded to a 10/10 in my confidence rankings and have to be respected as the #1 favorite to win the championship and complete a historic three-peat. Saquon Barkley and Josh Jacobs are both ranked inside the top 10 and along with Josh Allen provide a massive positional advantage over opponents.
3.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 5-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 534
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: Ding ding ding, will Mr. Lin please cash his winning lotto ticket? Kenneth Walker step on up into immediate RB1 value. With a massive workload, over 80% snaps and 40% route participation, Kenneth Walker is one of the few workhorse backs who will see incredible volume in his rookie season.
4.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 490.2
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: That victory in Week 2 against Dr. Jenious is going to be a crucial tie breaker that has this team ranked higher than his divisional opponent and only threat to the FFC East crown. After placing a massive bid for Kenyan Drake, the Craters have a short term starter and some much needed bench help at RB which will pay off even greater if JK Dobbins injury concerns continue.
5.) Dr. Jenious
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 483.9
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: It’s been a bittersweet couple of weeks for the Jenious at running back with news that Cam Akers could be on the move but on the flipside Dameon Pierce has emerged as a future superstar running back who has seemingly seized the entire backfield. Keep an eye on the Week 7 matchup as being one of the tougher matchups with Jalen Hurts and Justin Jefferson both on bye.
6.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 471.9
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: With some injury concerns at running back, the Spartans will welcome back D’Andre Swift to the starting lineup in Week 7. My confidence in this roster is still sky high but the only question mark I have is who will be the quarterback going forward with the return of Tua?
7.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 451.4
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: Just two months after being shot, Brian Robinson’s miraculous return back to the field started with opening the game on Thursday night as the starter and scoring his first NFL touchdown. This has been one of the most incredible stories in years in the NFL, but will it have a happy ending for MD Nuts’ season?
8.) Isla Sorna Raptors
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 478.2
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: Entering the mid point of the season, we surprisingly only have two .500 teams and the first one up are the Raptors. It’s funny how different a team can look after just six weeks and this team’s running backs have all shot up in value and played themselves into startable territory: Travis Etienne, Khalil Herbert, Michael Carter and Tyler Allgeier is a fantastic RB2 combo to Derrick Henry.
9.) How I Kmet Your Mother
Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 464.8
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: After a slow start to the season, this team has rebounded in a major way and looks like a much stronger contender than two weeks ago. Rhamondre Stevenson’s emergence as a workhorse running back in the absence of Damien Harris bodes well for his future workload and role in this offense as an every week starter.
10.) Sacramento Wolfpack
Overall Record: 2-3-1
Divisional Record: 1-2-1
Total Points Scored: 423.2
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The injury to Marquise Hollywood Brown looks like a crushing blow to a team that is paper thin at wide receiver depth, but thankfully it was not a season ending injury and the Wolfpack will get him back later this season. Brown finished the first six weeks as WR8 which is remarkable for where he was drafted.
11.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 399.8
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: Bruce pulled off one of the bigger upsets in Week 6 against the Spartans but will have their work cut out chasing two of the stronger teams in the league in their own division for the rest of the season. Terry McLaurin has seemingly disappeared in this offense failing to score 10 fantasy points or a touchdown since Week 3, but a quarterback change may help reverse that trend.
12.) SLAM BALL 2K22
Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 383.8
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: Note to self for 2023: don’t wait too long to draft a quarterback.
13.) Philippines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 1-4-1
Divisional Record: 0-3-1
Total Points Scored: 429.3
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: The biggest riser in the rankings is the Garbage Dumps who have lifted themself out of last place with their first win of 2022 as the week’s highest scorer! Dalvin Cook has quietly put together two back to back great games to lift himself up to RB11 and will help provide some consistency and reliability for this team going forward.
14.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 1-5
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 412.5
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: It’s getting repetitive to pile on Russel Wilson week after week and there are some bright spots to look at for this team. Austin Ekeler, after starting off slow and failing to find the endzone in the first three weeks, has looked like an absolute stud in the last three weeks and poised for another top 5 finish.
15.) Jedi Knights
Overall Record: 1-5
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 401.3
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: The Jedi Knights will welcome the return of #1 overall pick Jonathan Taylor back but this time he has a much improved teammate in the backfield. Breece Hall has emerged as a rising star with three straight weeks with a touchdown and played himself into top ten territory.
16.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 1-5
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 353.6
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: It’s been a tough season for the Warriors who can’t seem to score points consistently. Something encouraging is Najee Harris finally found the endzone and will need to be a much bigger part of this team going forward.
