1.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 4-0
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 384.6
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: After the first month of the season, there is only one undefeated team left standing. With Samaje Perine secured on the bench the Craters are ready to keep it rolling in any short term absence of Joe Mixon.
2.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 369.3
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: The Warriors accomplished a huge feat in securing a 2-0 tiebreaker over the powerhouse Pool of the Dead and are in prime position to own the tiebreaker at the end of the season. Jonathan Taylor finally found the endzone after a dry spell and with news that the Colts are trying to trade Marlon Mack, all roads lead to top 5 upside.
3.) Sacramento Wolf Pack
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 359.0
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The Wolf Pack suffered a close loss on Sunday afternoon as the Spartans raged back in the late games, but there are many bright spots on the team. Jalen Hurts looks legitimate after a month and is basically matchup proof with his rushing upside.
4.) Gandalf the Goat
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 346.4
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: Despite a monster game from David Montgomery, the Goat will now look at 4-5 weeks without their top running back. The defending champion made news earlier this week trading away star WR Allen Robinson but will rely on Keenan Allen and Ja’Marr Chase to lead the way.
5.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 351.5
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: 2.9 fantasy points, 1.7 fantasy points and then 36.6 fantasy points…this is what rostering Tyreek Hill looks like in the last three weeks. The explosive WR jumped up to #2 in the overall ranks after one monster week where he found the endzone three times and showcased the highest ceiling for any receiver in the league.
6.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 416.1
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Through the first four weeks of the regular season, Derrick Henry is leading the entire league with 113 carries, 30 more than second place and almost double the majority of first round running backs. The plan is simple and yet unstoppable: Derrick Henry will carry this team to a playoff berth.
7.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 370.7
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: How about another interesting stat for this team: Sam Darnold is tied for the league lead in rushing touchdowns after one month with five. The elevation of Justin Fields to starting QB bodes well for Darnell Mooney who showed good chemistry with the rookie.
8.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 365.1
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: It’s encouraging to see Edwards-Helaire put together back to back good games after a slow start to the season. In such a tough competitive division, the Duckies took a big gamble last week trading away Stefon Diggs for Amari Cooper which will be an interesting wrinkle to this season.
9.) SLAM BALL 2K21
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 327.7
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: Thank you all for reading the weekly power rankings. I appreciate all of your guys’ support on the website because you make this league awesome to be a part of.
10.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 321.5
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: The Spartans pulled off an incredible victory in the late game block of Sunday with Aaron Rodgers, James Conner and Diontae Johnson all exploding for a monster fantasy day. This was a crucial win to tie the season series with the Wolfpack and stay one game behind the top two teams in the division.
11.) Hot Pocket Hot Locket
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 309.5
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: Neighbor Nic has shown he is not afraid to shake up his roster and execute big trades as he was able to acquire Allen Robinson for Elijah Moore and Jamaal Williams. This will be a new opportunity for a talented stud receiver who will look to establish chemistry with another new quarterback once again.
12.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 337.3
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: It was a brutal close loss for Bruce who see the division hopes teeter with a second loss to the 4-0 Craters. As predicted earlier I think the quarterback position is a clear weakness holding this team back and we may see a switch back to Justin Fields in the next couple of weeks.
13.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 325.5
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: It’s a bad stroke of luck when your kicker injures his groin on the opening kickoff and delivers a goose egg in your starting lineup. There won’t be many games Travis Kelce is held in check on a 5 touchdown game from Mahomes so expect a rebound game coming up.
14.) Dr. Jenious
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 306.0
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: It looked promising after a dynamite Thursday night performance for James Robinson but every once in a while you just run into a buzz saw where your opponent is just firing on all cylinders. I think the most encouraging player on this team has been James Robinson’s drastic increase in usage on both snaps and touches and will continue to trend forward to his elite status from last season.
15.) Jedi Knights
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 288.6
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: Joe Burrow showed flashes of the future with his season high performance in points, but unfortunately there was not much else to look forward to. The Jedi Knights will need AJ Brown to return to action soon.
16.) Philippines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 0-4
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 201.7
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: Things have gone from bad to worse. When reached out to for comments, the GM of the PGD stated “I hate football”.
