1.) Dr. Jenious
Overall Record: 4-0
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 405.4
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The last undefeated team remains after four weeks and it is the good doctor. After trading away Jonathan Taylor for a strong receiver, Amari Cooper shines in his debut game launching the Jenious to a perfect 4-0 divisional record so far.
2.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 436
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: The league high scorer drops a spot after a lackluster game well below the average 109 points per game they have been scoring all season. MD Nuts made more headlines late Tuesday evening after they traded stud receiver DeAndre Hopkins and pieces for some running back help in Jonathan Taylor and stud TE Robert Tonyan who has taken the NFL by force this season.
3.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 367.8
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: Despite losing and splitting the season series 1-1 with the Rubber Duckies, the Warriors stand pat at the #3 spot after another great scoring performance. If one thing has been clear in the first quarter of the regular season, Aaron Rodgers was vastly underrated and has been an MVP candidate.
4.) Sacramento Wolfpack
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 335.4
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: The Wolfpack jump into the top 4 for the first time this season after finishing with an impressive 3-1 record in the first quarter of the season despite having one of the most injured rosters in the league. With AJ Brown hopefully returning to the lineup healthy, that will help along with the great bench talent to keep this team moving forward in a competitive divisional race.
5.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 398.5
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Back to back weeks of weekly high scorer and the defending champion is flying under the radar after a strong start. Dalvin Cook and Adam Thielen have been fantasy superstars this early season and continue to lead this team to almost 100 points scored per week.
6.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 341.7
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: What an incredible finish in the Sunday night game and the Spartans picked up a critical 2-0 season sweep of division rivals Garbage Dumps. Mike Davis has been one of the best waiver wire pickups and has provided Christian McCaffrey-lite numbers in his absence.
7.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 316.9
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: It was the highest scoring game of the week that came down to the 4th quarter of Monday Night Football but the Rubber Duckies earned an important win to split the season series against division leader Warriors. The Tom Brady to Mike Evans connection has been one of the strongest stacks especially inside goal to go situations this year with 5 touchdowns in 4 games.
8.) ODB Loves 2B S**t On
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 374.2
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Odell Beckham put on the performance of the week with a hat trick in a dominant performance in Big D this past Sunday. The superstar of this team is Alvin Kamara who has been the YAC king of the NFL and reminded everyone he is the most electrifying player in the game.
9.) Philippines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 345.6
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: The Garbage Dumps take the biggest fall in the power rankings this week falling to third place in the division behind two 3-1 teams, but own the tiebreaker against the Wolfpack. Things do not look so bad as Joe Mixon has finally arrived in the 2020 season and Kareem Hunt’s value will skyrocket with the absence of Nick Chubb.
10.) Gandalf the Goat
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 335.1
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: DK Metcalf looks like one of the best young receivers and prime second year WR2 jumps in the league this year. I have also been impressed with Devin Singletary after being low on him in the preseason and with the absence of Zach Moss he has flourished into RB1 territory.
11.) Team Banana Boat
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 276.5
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: New quarterback Carson Wentz proved his worth as the Banana Boat narrowly escape with a win to even up their season record to .500. This team has been one of the most frustrating in the 2020 season because there is a lot of talent I like but it has drastically underperformed so far.
12.) SLAM BALL 2K20
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 378.9
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: SLAM BALL drops three in a row to close out the first quarter of the season and a bad situation just got worse.
13.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 336.9
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: It was a short stayover for Jonathan Taylor who was the center piece of the trade on Tuesday evening to acquire superstar receiver DeAndre Hopkins. As I stated earlier, this team will need to get creative with lineups and transactions until #1 overall pick Christian McCaffrey returns to save the season.
14.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 0-4
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 297.4
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: So it looks like it’s just going to be one of those seasons for Lin Sanity with rotten luck and a slow start. It’s certainly too early to concede anything but the division race looks extremely tough and the star players have not performed consistently to warrant any person on this team as “untouchable” trade assets.
15.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 0-4
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 296.1
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: None of these games have been really close for the Craters until this past week which shows some progress. The owner came out Tuesday afternoon and guaranteed a victory citing they would be enjoying a “banana split” after getting win #1.
16.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 0-4
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 275.4
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: It was a brutal close loss for the winless Pool of the Dead who were hurt the most this past week with the postponement of the Steelers game. They could have really used Roethlisberger and Smith-Schuster in this game.
