1.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 3-0
Divisional Record: 3-0
Total Points Scored: 359.5
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: It was another monster week for early MVP favorite Russell Wilson who threw five touchdowns with the greatest of ease en route to another dominant victory for MD Nuts. This team is stacked to the brim with talent like never seen before with QB1, RB2, WR3 and WR5 all in the starting lineup.
2.) Dr. Jenious
Overall Record: 3-0
Divisional Record: 3-0
Total Points Scored: 318.5
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: Top to bottom when you include bench depth, this might be the most complete roster with arguably the best draft. It’s only a matter of time before James Robinson finds his way into a starting lineup with the numbers he’s been putting up.
3.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 3-0
Divisional Record: 3-0
Total Points Scored: 265.8
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: Even without Davante Adams, Aaron Rodgers has looked like a completely revitalized MVP candidate this season and is dealing. It was only a matter of time before Austin Ekeler broke through with a great game and now he has arrived.
4.) Philippines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 2-1
Divisional Record: 2-1]
Total Points Scored: 252.5
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Tyler Lockett with the hat trick brought the biggest scoring week of the season for the PGD who catapult into the top 4 amidst a 3-way tie in the competitive FFC West race. This team has found some great value in the middle rounds of the draft with Kareem Hunt and Cam Newton but will need contributions from Joe Mixon to make a real playoff run.
5.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 2-1
Divisional Record: 2-1
Total Points Scored: 291.1
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: You can’t write off the defending champion after one bad week in Week 2. Michael Gallup finally broke through with a strong game and he’s been targeted heavily on deep routes which is going to result in a monster fantasy season if their chemistry is on point.
6.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 2-1
Divisional Record: 2-1
Total Points Scored: 244.5
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: The Spartans got more bad news with Chris Godwin who may have to sit a few weeks with a hamstring injury. This was a rare bad Lamar Jackson game in which they played from behind most of the game and could not operate a run-heavy offense.
7.) Sacramento Wolfpack
Overall Record: 2-1
Divisional Record: 2-1
Total Points Scored: 229.8
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The Wolfpack got hit with the injury bug again as Chris Carson was diagnosed with a “knee sprain” and his situation is unclear for Week 4. This team needs AJ Brown to return and make an impact in the lineup to stay competitive in the division race.
8.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies
Overall Record: 2-1
Divisional Record: 2-1
Total Points Scored: 210.5
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Tom Brady finally had his breakout game of 2020 and that paid dividends for the Rubber Duckies with the Brady/Evans stack. With new of Godwin’s injury, Evans will only get more opportunities to help this team.
9.) SLAM BALL 2K20
Overall Record: 1-2
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 304.1
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: Another tough loss in a brutal division race for SLAM BALL who are now at a 2-game deficit.
10.) ODB Loves 2B S**t On
Overall Record: 1-2
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 284.9
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: New guy Nic was on the wrong end of the biggest Monday night miracle in league history and lost Diontae Johnson early to concussion. One good thing that came out of this week was Nick Foles replacing Trubisky and if Sunday’s game is in any indication, Allen Robinson will benefit the most from this.
11.) Gandalf the Goat
Overall Record: 1-2
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 260.2
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: It was truly a Monday night miracle as the Goat and the rest of the league watched Patrick Mahomes work his magic. Down by 45 going into Monday night was probably a write-off but it quickly became the biggest comeback in league history going into a Monday night game.
12.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 1-2
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 248.5
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: Without two of their first three round picks and going against a buzz saw in the South, UPS did not have much of a chance. This team will need to get creative with starts/sits until they can get healthy and get back their big guns.
13.) Team Banana Boat
Overall Record: 1-2
Divisional Record: 1-2
Total Points Scored: 207.8
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: I think this team has a real problem at quarterback when you look at the stat lines for both Daniel Jones and Dwayne Haskins. Until that problem gets resolved or we see some creative flexing in matchup-based plays, this team is going to be second or third banana in the division.
14.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 0-3
Divisional Record: 0-3
Total Points Scored: 226.3
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: This has been a frustrating start to the season for Lin Sanity who are too talented to be this low in the power rankings. Kenyan Drake has not been able to ride the momentum of last season and has been bottled up mostly for three straight games.
15.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 0-2
Divisional Record: 0-3
Total Points Scored: 215.2
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: The silver lining has been Derrick Henry finally broke through and scored on the ground twice for the first time this season. The skills positions are hurting and wildly inconsistent.
16.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 0-3
Divisional Record: 0-3
Total Points Scored: 208.1
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: The Pool of the Dead face the toughest test in their franchise history starting off 0-3 for the first time. There were really no disappointing performances but without any breakout games and lack of touchdowns, they are not getting enough point production.
