Week 11 Power Rankings (11-21-2019)

1.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 9-2
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 896.1
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: They just keep finding a way to win, and have now officially erased any doubts about who the best team in the league is heading into these last two weeks of the regular season. At this point they are eyeing a top two seed and first round bye for the playoffs.

2.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Overall Record: 8-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 960.5
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The Wolfpack saw their first real bad game of the year this past week and now injuries have plagued this team. James Connor and TY Hilton will both be questionable this week and could make or break the season going down the stretch.

3.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies

Overall Record: 7-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 870.6
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: After a wild week in the North, the Rubber Duckies find themselves back at the top after a close win. Their path to the division is the most clear but with how erratic their scoring has been recently, nothing can be guaranteed.

4.) Bruce Almightys

Overall Record: 5-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 822.1
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Bruce is the biggest jumper in the power rankings this week and has a game separation over the rest of the division. After an impressive 31 point week from Jeff Driskel, it’s clear that he will be the plug and play until Matthew Stafford becomes healthy (hopefully in time for the playoffs).

5.) SLAM BALL 2K19

Overall Record: 7-4
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 979.9
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: SLAM BALL does not want a head to head tiebreaker being applied against the Warriors who they lost against to be the final wildcard spot.

6.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 7-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 869.5
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: The Spartans, now on a three-game win streak, have looked like the most impressive team over that stretch and played themselves right into the top 6 with an out to win the division and potentially gain a top two seed. Trading for Dak Prescott should be up there for the best trade of the year and could be a stroke of that genius that has given this franchise three championships.

7.) Korriban Warriors

Overall Record: 7-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 826.5
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The Warriors are the last 7-win team and just outside of the bubble but have a significant head to head tiebreaker over SLAM BALL and are still in contention for the division (tied with Rubber Duckies). This will be an interesting two weeks as the Warriors have a lot of outs for both spots.

8.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 6-4-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 761.7
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: What a bizarre scenario for the rarely seen tie in this age of fractional scoring. This tie hurt the Pool the most who fall five spots out of the division lead and outside of the wildcard trying to fight back in. With crunch time approaching, the Pool has to hope 8-4-1 will be good enough to win the division.

9.) Phillipines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 6-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 808.8
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: Without their best player Aaron Jones, the PGD lost a crucial game in Week 11 that lost some ground in the wildcard race.

10.) Team Banana Boat

Overall Record: 5-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 939.8
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Holding pat after a win, the Banana Boat did not get a lot of help from other teams to get some upsets to allow them to move up in the power rankings. With how strong the FFC North is with every other team above .500, the division title seems unlikely at this point although they are not officially eliminated from contention yet.

11.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 4-6-1
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 808.7
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: The other team who was a part of that tie, the Craters have been officially eliminated from wildcard contention. However, the division is such a close race that this would be the goal of all the teams in the division at this point. John Brown’s huge two touchdown game has earned some confidence in him being the WR3 of this team.

12.) Lin Sanity

Overall Record: 4-7
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 951.6
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: Lin Sanity has been eliminated from the 2019 playoffs.

13.) Dr. Jenious

Overall Record: 4-7
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 926.5
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: Dr. Jenious has been eliminated from wildcard contention but are within one game of the South race. The difficult part is that they have no more games against Bruce Almighty so will have to rely on outside help from the other division mates to hand losses to Bryce.

14.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 3-8
Divisional Record: 2-
Total Points Scored: 747.5
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: Uur UPS has been eliminated from the 2019 playoffs.

15.) The People’s Goat

Overall Record: 3-8
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 823.8
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: The People’s Goat has been eliminated from the 2019 playoffs.

16.) The 1st Year Kitties

Overall Record: 2-9
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 879.7
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: The Kitties have been eliminated from the 2019 playoffs.
