Week 9 Power Rankings (11-06-2019)

1.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 7-2
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 733
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: A change of scenery has provided a much-needed boost to Emmanuel Sanders and this team’s receiving core. With the reports that Mahomes is projected to play this week, the MD Nuts have their eyes on a bye week and another first place finish in the power rankings.

2.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Overall Record: 7-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 852.5
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: You got to hand it to this team who managed to put up their usual point total without James Conner and TY Hilton in the starting lineup. There is optimism that Conner will return this week. The Wolfpack remain the only team in the league averaging over 90 points a week.

3.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies

Overall Record: 6-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 730.3
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: I can understand the decision to bite the bullet and preserve the roster, but the Duckies took a huge blow in the points scored department falling from the second highest scoring team to ninth in just one week. With their full team back, the Rubber Duckies will look to get back on track in this uber competitive division race.

4.) Doctor Jenious

Overall Record: 4-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 796.3
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: We have a new FFC South leader. Dr. J has moved back into the division lead after a three-way tie and point scored tiebreaker lead over division rivals Bryce and Chet. This team is currently the second highest scoring team in the league and Russell Wilson’s MVP campaign continues after a monster five touchdown day

5.) Korriban Warriors

Overall Record: 6-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 659
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: After starting the season 1-3, the Warriors have been red hot outside of the division and there was finally a big Zach Ertz game for this team to hang their hat on. Let this team be a perfect example of not conceding the season too early and always continuing to fight to get back into the playoff mix.

6.) SLAM BALL 2K19

Overall Record: 6-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 788.2
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: After a comfortable eight-week vacation in the #5 spot, the SLAM Ballers move down a spot because of the head to head tiebreaker loss to the Warriors.

7.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 5-4
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 585.6
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: They haven’t been the sexiest team of the year, but the strong 3-1 start and divisional record keeps this team hanging around in the mix and they will own a lot of tiebreakers when it comes down playoff seeding. The combination backfield of Barkley and Henry will be dangerous and heavily relied upon for the final four games of the regular season.

8.) Phillipines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 5-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 657.6
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: This team lost a close one and really missed Michael Thomas out there today who could have made the difference. The PGD hold the head to head tiebreaker over the Spartans currently and still have their eyes on the division but will need to finish out the season on a strong note.

9.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 5-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 692.3
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: The Dak Attack put on an impressive 99.9 point performance in Week 9 with great help from Preston Williams and Jamison Crowder. The Spartans will have great opportunities with two of the four matchups in the final part of the regular season against the Wolfpack and PGD, allowing this team to gain some ground and get back into the playoff mix.

10.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 4-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 742.2
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: The Craters lost a close game and lose control of the division after a disappointing Aaron Rodgers performance only two weeks removed from some of the most impressive games of his season. The good news is Mike Evans and Tyler Lockett have been amongst the most dominant wide receivers in fantasy and Evans enters the week as WR1.

11.) Bruce Almightys

Overall Record: 4-5
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 679.6
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: Gridlocked in the three-way tie for the FFC South, Bruce will get arguably the toughest Week 10 matchup against defending champion and #1 seed MD Nuts. Matt Stafford has been a really impressive under the radar fantasy QB, clocking in at QB5 going into this week.

12.) Team Banana Boat

Overall Record: 3-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 778
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: What a Monday night miracle that was winning by 0.2 points. The Banana Boat must get on a hot streak, because this team looks too talented on paper to miss the playoffs.

13.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 3-6
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 633.5
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: The bad news is this team is in last place in scoring in the division. The good news is the entire division is under .500 and UPS is only behind one game. The only tricky bye week to navigate will be Chris Carson’s in two weeks.

14.) Lin Sanity

Overall Record: 3-6
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 745.1
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: With only four games left in the regular season, the division title looks improbable. Any loss by this team or victory by the Wolfpack will seal the deal, so the wildcard looks like the more realistic road for last year’s runner up to reach the playoffs.

15.) 1st Year Kitties

Overall Record: 2-7
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 772.8
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: The 1st Year Kitties have been eliminated from winning the FFC East. A sliver of hope for the wildcard remains but will require a miraculous final four weeks.

16.) The People’s Goat

Overall Record: 2-7
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 666.6
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: Boy that’s an auspicious points scored total for this team. The Goats have been eliminated from winning the FFC East.
