Notes: The reigning champ finally feels vulnerable after six weeks of dominance. With the biggest question marks in the injury department, can this team weather the storm and get back on track with the return of Mahomes?

2.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Notes: There’s not much to complain about when you’re the leading scorer in the entire league. The Wolfpack are in the closest division race and are eyeing the top spot in the power rankings with the injury to Mahomes.

3.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies

Total Points Scored: 621.6
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: Look out, the hottest team in the entire league is the Rubber Duckies. With four consecutive wins, a two game lead in the division and now the second highest scoring team in the league, the Duckies have entered the strong contender discussion eyeing a possible playoff bye.

4.) Bruce Almightys

Notes: After a successful bye week (victory with Chubb out), Bruce will roll out the prized acquisition of his monster trade. Bruce is the only Southern GM with a positive win/loss record in this 4 game stint against the West so far.

5.) SLAM BALL 2K19

Notes: I’m starting Mitch Trubisky in a meaningful fantasy football game this week.

6.) Phillipines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 4-3
Divisional Record: 2-2

Notes: The PGD make one of the best jumps in the power rankings this week grabbing the final playoff seed, if the playoffs started today. They managed to start the right QB this week and a solid 25 point game from Josh Allen clinched the victory.

7.) Elk Grove Spartans

Divisional Record: 2-2

Position Last Week: 6
Notes: The absence of Alvin Kamara was too much to overcome for the Spartans as they look to rebound in Week 8. Early reports look good for Kamara to suit up, but now the Spartans look to start Kyle Allen in a tough matchup.

8.) Korriban Warriors

Divisional Record: 1-3

Notes: The Warriors have quietly been climbing the power rankings after their third win in a row. With the division and a wildcard spot in sight, don’t close the door on the Warriors making a playoff run.

9.) Pool of the Dead

Notes: The good news is Saquon Barkley looks back and still looks like the guy he was drafted to be. The bad news is the Pool of the Dead have dropped all three of their games outside of the division and continue sliding down the power rankings slowly.

10.) Dr. Jenious

Notes: Despite holding the division lead in points scored, the doctor can’t seem to capitalize on any opportunities to make up ground in the division race. This was the first slow game for Russell Wilson and I don’t expect to see any more of them.

11.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Notes: Aaron Rodgers finally had his breakout game of 2019 and he looked as good as advertised. This team has been desperate for an offensive outing like the one they had Sunday and hopefully this one will get the ball rolling for a strong second half push.

12.) Lin Sanity

Notes:  After starting the season 1-3 and in the basement, Lin Sanity has fought back into the wildcard mix. How about starting the Chiefs defense as the clutch free agent pickup of the week?

13.) Team Banana Boat

Notes:  Another frustrating loss for Team Banana Boat who were without Christian McCaffrey on bye. This team can’t afford to take any more losses as they are falling out of the division race.

Notes:  The good news is DeAndre Hopkins might have been one of the best buys of the season as he looked dominant again after a 16 point fantasy game. However another loss for them as they are 0-3 against the West.

15.) 1st Year Kitties

Notes: Brutal way to lose for the Kitties on a stat correction after what looked like a Monday night miracle. After trading away one of their two top 5 quarterbacks, the Kitties may have stumbled into another amazing quarterback dilemma with the resurgence of Kirk Cousins.
