Week 6 Power Rankings (10-16-2019)

1.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts

Overall Record: 6-0
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 534.8
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: Smooth sailing for the defending champion who has yet to taste defeat this season. Even after two slow Mahomes games, this team has shown that’s much more than a one man show and David Johnson has entered top 5 RB standing as a reliable and consistent producer weekly.

2.) Sacramento Wolfpack

Overall Record: 5-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 577.3
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The sudden re-emergence of James Conner in the past few weeks has helped solidify this team as one of the most consistent and well-balanced rosters in the league. And the proof is in the pudding as the Wolfpack lead the league in points scored.

3.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies

Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 528.3
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: The Rubber Duckies have been amazingly putting up some big numbers on offense even without Todd Gurley in the lineup this week. Matt Ryan enters Week 7 as QB5 on the year after another strong fantasy performance.

4.) Bruce Almightys

Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 443.6
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: Bruce shook up the entire league with a blockbuster trade sending away four players and receiving a package that included the 3rd ranked running back Nick Chubb among others. Stefon Diggs monster three touchdown game inspired some confidence to insert him as a season long starter.

5.) SLAM BALL 2K19

Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 523.2
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: This is my spot. You can’t have it.

6.) Elk Grove Spartans

Overall Record: 4-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 475.4
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: What if I told you this team has two top 10 wide receivers, two guys most people didn’t even have on their radar at the beginning of the season: DJ Chark (WR2) and Terry McLaurin (WR8). Having incredible value this late in the draft can cover up any errors early in the draft and this team is now in the playoff mix.

7.) Pool of the Dead

Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 367.3
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: I don’t know what to write here. Do you start Baker Mayfield or Daniel Jones going forward? ESPN expects Saquon Barkley to come back this week so he will be the messiah that could possibly save this season for the Pool of the Dead.

8.) Dr. Jenious

Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 529
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: Dr. J was the only team in the South with a victory this week, so they go ta leg up on the entire division in one week but still lose the head to head tiebreaker against Bruce Almightys. Russell Wilson’s MVP pace continues to be the driving force of this team.

9.) Phillipines Garbage Dumps

Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 434.1
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: It’s hard to win any game when your quarterback turns the ball over six times and erases thirty fantasy points off the board. Jameis Winston is going to be a gamble going forward and while I believe he has incredible upside with his receivers, the low floor is concerning with so much turnover potential.

10.) Korriban Warriors

Overall Record: 3-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 451.9
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: That’s three wins in a row and the Warriors are one game out of the wildcard mix. It was nothing pretty but it was a start as the Warriors look to completely turn around their season.

11.) Team Banana Boat

Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 543
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: Frustrating season so far for the Banana Boat, who despite having the third most points scored, find themselves at 2-4 and in last place in the division.

12.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters

Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 434.3
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: As the Craters get a first look at their new team with Sony Michel and Mike Evans in the starting lineup, it was not enough to get a much needed victory as they got steamrolled by the weekly high scorer in Lin Sanity.

13.) Uur UPS

Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 421.5
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Tough loss for UPS who looked good entering the 10:00 games with 20 points from Curtis Samuel in the starting lineup. With the newest monster haul of big names including DeAndre Hopkins and Devonta Freeman, UPS is hoping a change of scenery can ignite a second half winning streak.

14.) 1
st Year Kitties

Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 544.5
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: The Kitties are #2 in the league in points scored but find themselves at 2-4 after a tough opening schedule to the season. This team has the talent to make a playoff push so I am not counting them out by any means and the best thing was Tyreek Hill’s triumphant return and two touchdowns.

15.) Lin Sanity

Overall Record: 2-4
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 487.8
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: Don’t close the book on this team yet. While the division is heavily contested, Lin Sanity is a loaded team with a rookie QB who is showing drastic improvement and can play himself into top 10 standing by the end of the season.

16.) The People’s Goat

Overall Record: 0-6
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 421.2
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: This was the week for the Goat to secure their first victory of the season as their opponent only scored 52 points. I wouldn’t put it past this team to make some more trades in the next couple of weeks to shake up a roster that clearly isn’t working out.
