1.) Mahomies Deezflated Nuts
Overall Record: 4-0
Divisional Record: 4-0
Total Points Scored: 398.5
Position Last Week: 1
Notes: The last undefeated team in the league, Mahomies Deezflated Nuts cruised through the first four divisional weeks. With the team firing on all cylinders, they will be a tough out for anyone.
2.) Sacramento Wolfpack
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 378.5
Position Last Week: 4
Notes: The Wolfpack were happy to see signs of life from James Conner who has been disappointing all season long. If both running backs are right, this team will be a force.
3.) Pool of the Dead
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 272
Position Last Week: 2
Notes: The Pool suffer their first defeat of the regular season but are still in command of the FFC North. This team plays the waiting game to see how long before Barkley returns from injury to strengthen this roster for a playoff push.
4.) Dr. Jenious
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 349.4
Position Last Week: 3
Notes: After two monster weeks, the doctor had a disappointing week not salvaged by any one player on the team. With the FFC South in a 4-way gridlock, the Jenious’ massive point lead gives them the edge right now.
5.) SLAM BALL 2K19
Overall Record: 3-1
Divisional Record: 3-1
Total Points Scored: 381.6
Position Last Week: 5
Notes: Fifth place is starting to become a comfortable place for the SLAM BALLers who have been here four weeks in a row…with no end in sight.
6.) Team Banana Boat
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 352.7
Position Last Week: 6
Notes: Similar to Dr. J, this team has had two great weeks and two terrible weeks. With so much firepower but inconsistency, can this team put it together to challenge for the FFC North title?
7.) Ernie’s Rubber Duckies
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 315.3
Position Last Week: 11
Notes: The Patriots Defense has to be in the conversation for one of the greatest fantasy defenses of all time so far as it has almost singlehandedly kept this team afloat in the FFC North race.
8.) Phillipines Garbage Dumps
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 285.5
Position Last Week: 8
Notes: It was a tough week of playing the wrong QB for the PGD who lose the season series against the Wolfpack 0-2 but are only one game behind in another close divisional race. With the health of Josh Allen being questionable in the short term, look for Jameis Winston to get some starts.
9.) Da Moon’s Huge Craters
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 285.5
Position Last Week: 9
Notes: The Craters did not get their Monday night miracle as Juju did not look like the focus of the Steelers offense. I expect that chemistry between Rudolph and Smith-Schuster to improve but this team needs to get some form of a running game together.
10.) Bruce Almightys
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 285
Position Last Week: 13
Notes: Despite a relatively low scoring win, Bruce took a huge step in the division race with a 2-0 season series win over the doctor. Now this team needs to stay competitive and start scoring more points and they can find themselves in the top 4 soon.
11.) Elk Grove Spartans
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 276.2
Position Last Week: 7
Notes: The Spartans were let down by Kyle Allen who looked surgical last week but committed too many turnovers to bury this team’s chances in Week 4. I don’t expect the late scratch of Terry McLaurin to be a long term injury and he could be back in action Week 5.
12.) Uur UPS
Overall Record: 2-2
Divisional Record: 2-2
Total Points Scored: 274.7
Position Last Week: 12
Notes: Finally, a Nick Chubb game to get some hype for this team that has been struggling to score points. With Chubb and Carson looking strong, this team is going with an old school approach and going to dominate the run game.
13.) 1st Year Kitties
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 332.3
Position Last Week: 10
Notes: The most encouraging sign from this first quarter of the season is the rumors of Leonard Fournette’s fantasy irrelevance have been greatly exaggerated.
14.) Korriban Warriors
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 302.3
Position Last Week: 16
Notes: A much needed win for the Warriors to get out of the 0-3 hole and within 2 games of the division lead. Mason Rudolph looked decent Monday Night and looks like a suitable replacement until Drew Brees returns.
15.) Lin Sanity
Overall Record: 1-3
Divisional Record: 1-3
Total Points Scored: 300.7
Position Last Week: 14
Notes: Lin Sanity gets their first win of the season and tie up the season series with the Spartans 1-1. The best free agent pickup of the week, Wayne Gallman broke out with a monster game to secure the much-needed win.
16.) The People’s Goat
Overall Record: 0-4
Divisional Record: 0-4
Total Points Scored: 296
Position Last Week: 15
Notes: The return of Melvin Gordon will provide this team a big boost and hopefully end the four game losing streak soon.
